We wanted to encourage everyone to make a stand to ensure a green future for today’s kids. The activity also serves as an awareness campaign on the environment’s vulnerability for which we should be responsible.

To encourage the wonderful folks of Penang to stay green, fit and healthy, we are organising this fabulous run in Penang. Welcome to the MGBC Eco Power Run 2016 in conjunction with Penang Green Carnival 2016 organized by Penang Green Council.
This event is done in support and educate local on Green, especially in Green Building. So come and support Green. There are lucky draws to give out after the run!
Part of the “Penang Green Carnival 2016”, the run-by-any-means activity attracted whole families with grandparents, environment advocates, and running enthusiasts. All for fun and the environment, the participants ran, walked, and some were pushed thru strollers or wheelchairs towards the finished line.
This event is only for Malaysian citizens and permanent residents.

Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organiser to ensure the participants’ safety, participants take part in this event at their own risks and the Organiser, their sponsors, and their appointed officials shall not be liable for any death or injury, loss or damage, suffered or otherwise, and howsoever arising.
There will be no baggage deposit counters at the start point. Participants are advised to carry minimal essentials for the race.
The organizer has taken all necessary precaution to ensure the safety of all participants and will not be responsible for any injury sustained, loss of or damage to personal property during the race. The organizer reserves the right to remove any participants deemed physically incapable of continuing with the run to prevent him/her from causing greater harm and injury to himself/herself.
Participants are strongly encouraged to go for medical examinations and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to race day.
For the safety of all participants, runners are advised to run on the designated route throughout the entire race.
In the event of inclement weather, the Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the race. Should the inclement weather persist after delay, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the race without any refund.
All joining the event will be subject to security screening. Bags will be inspected and will be retained at the Security Checkpoints.
